Local Professionals Turn to Dog Care
Dover, NH, (ContentDesk) December 20 2003-?Anne Buckley and Sarah Salisbury have said good-bye to their professional careers to follow their passion for dogs. K9 Kaos, LLC, their newly founded dog daycare facility, will open on January 5, 2004. Buckley has enjoyed a fifteen-year career in marketing communications for several technology companies, most recently for Agilent Technologies. Salisbury has worked in the insurance industry for twenty years and was a top account executive for one of the largest insurance agencies in the North East. The two met as fellow volunteers for a local greyhound rescue organization.
They decided to team up in June and leave the stress of corporate life behind them to do what they love to do: care for dogs.K9 Kaos is specifically designed as a "home away from home" for the dogs.
With three large yards outside, dogs will receive plenty of fresh air and exercise with dogs of their size and/or age.
There is also a separate play yard and room just for the young dogs and puppies. Dog owners do not have to worry about their puppies being integrated into a large group of adult dogs before they're ready. All dog rooms are bright and cheery and include television, radio, and plenty of soft beds for the dogs to relax on.
Owners can arrange for one-on-one training sessions, walks to close by Hilton Park or other special requested activities that owners may have for their dogs. K9 Kaos is planning the installation of a Webcam system, in the spring, so that owners can peek in on their dogs during the day via the Internet. Also planned is a full boutique which will include premium dog food, many specialty gifts items, and dog supplies. "Dog daycare is ideal for working dog owners that don't want to leave their best friend home alone all day," said Buckley.
